The Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT) has 30 member companies active in 34 European countries operating several hundred free-to-air and pay-tv channels and distributing several hundred channels and new services.

Any privately owned broadcaster in the European Union or from any of the candidate countries can become a member of the ACT.
