The Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT) is a trade body for the commercial broadcasting sector in Europe. Formed in 1989, the ACT has 27 member companies active in 37 European countries, operating and distributing several thousand free-to-air and pay-tv channels and new media services.

MTG has completed the acquisition of 100% of US games publisher and developer Kongregate. Jørgen Madsen Lindemann, MTG President and CEO stated: “Consumers now spend almost a third of their mobile device time playing games, and Kongregate is a great fit with our strategy to invest in relevant, complementary and scalable digital content and communities”.

RTL Group: A successful team effort

On 'Africa' theme day, held on 12 June 2017, the magazines and news broadcasts aired on N-TV, RTL Television and Vox all reported on the dire situation faced by millions of people in East Africa and appealed for donations. The result was a success: together with the €1 million in emergency relief provided by the 'Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern' (RTL Foundation – We Help Children), a total of €1,153,985 will go towards helping children and families in East Africa.
