ACT organises a webinar on “EU digital policies & TV”
A webinar on “EU digital policies & TV” hosted by Nicola Beer, Vice-President of the European Parliament and organised by the Association of Commercial Television in Europe. This webinar allowed EU policy-makers and regulators to hear the perspective of broadcasters on the key issues for the current legislature – Digital Services Act, European Democracy Action Plan as well as AI and new technologies impacting the media industry across Europe, platforms regulation and effective IP framework. It was also an opportunity for RENEW MEPs to reflect more broadly on questions related to media plurality, quality journalism and promotion of cultural diversity in Europe.
