European Internet Forum

In March 2000, only a few years after the invention of the World Wide Web, three Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from different political groups co-founded the European Internet Forum (EIF) with the aim to create an MEP-led network of digital policy stakeholders and a neutral, transparent and non-partisan platform to better understand the Internet and its foreseeable impact on Europe's economy, society and governance.
