ACT and the DMA coalition organise an event on ‘The DMA and its implications for media in Europe’

On 1 July 2026, ACT together with the DMA Coalition (ACT, AER, EBU and egta) organised an event on ‘The DMA and its implications for media in Europe’ in the EP in Brussels. The event hosted by MEP Yon Courtin, was dedicated to the Digital Markets Act and its application to address critical developments affecting European media.

Presentations and panels discussed the application of the DMA and its implications for media in Europe, notably in the case of Connected Television Operating Systems (CTV OS) and Virtual Assistant (VAs) providers, considering their central intermediary roles between media providers and end users.
