ACT speaks at the EP stakeholder meeting on the Cultural and Creative Sectors in the Age of AI

On 2 September 2026, Ioan Kaes, ACT Director in charge of IP and Competition, spoke the EP stakeholder meeting on the Cultural and Creative Sectors in the Age of AI, hosted by Rapporteur MEP Helder Sousa Silva. The discussion brought together representatives from across the creative ecosystem, including broadcasters, creators, publishers, platforms and technology providers, to exchange views on the opportunities and challenges AI presents for Europe’s cultural and creative sectors.
