Juan Antonio Orgaz Espuela
Juan Antonio Orgaz became Deputy Director of Regulatory Affairs and Institutional Relations at ATRESMEDIA in 2023. He is the founder, former president and member of the Board of Directors of DENAE (Spanish Association of Entertainment Law) and the former Managing Director of APEP (Spanish Professional Privacy Association). From 2014 until 2017, he was the head of legal advice, public affairs and corporate social responsibility of Discovery Networks in Spain and Portugal. Previous to that, Juan Antonio worked as a lawyer at Canal+, Cadena SER, and Écija Abogados. Until 2020 he was a professor at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid and has been a guest lecturer at Carlos III University, Autonomous University of Madrid and IE Law School, among other institutions. He is a member of the academic council of FIDE. Juan Antonio holds a law degree and LL.M from Carlos III University and has completed several courses from institutions like IE Law School and IESE Business school.
