Mélanie Amilhat
Mélanie Amilhat is Paramount Government Relations Europe Director. Specialised in copyright law, she enthusiastically works on relevant European policy matters and has a particular focus on issues in France, Italy and Spain. Mélanie is a qualified lawyer, who worked for commercial law firms in Brussels and London before settling in Brussels in 2010 where she worked during nearly 3 years for a Brussels-based law firm specialised in European and international IP and media law for clients in the music and audio-visual sectors. She then worked for over 6 years as senior legal adviser for an association representing audiovisual authors in Europe and their collective management organisations, before joining Paramount. Over the years, Mélanie has gained and continues to develop her expertise in copyright and media related issues and hopes that she will have the opportunity to remain part of the ACT’s board team which she has only had the pleasure to be part of for two months. Paramount’s perspective provides an interesting and valuable addition to the board.
